122 Quebec protesters arrested in raucous night before proposed strike-breaking legislation
A bid to restore order in restive Quebec was met with streets clogged with thousands of protesters, a multitude of flying projectiles, several smashed windows, and blasts of pepper spray leading to 122 arrests.
The unrest on Wednesday night followed the Quebec government’s announcement it would suspend the current academic session for striking students in an effort to calm things down.
It also hinted at more punitive measures, without sharing details. (Photos: ROGERIO BARBOSA/AFP/GettyImages)

How can so few, claim so many victims | and this begs the question | my rest is a weapon against the oppression | of mans’ obsession to control things | look at the long line of make believe kings | the lord of the flies wants you to kiss his ring | follow the new rules with invisible strings | and become a puppet in the diabolical scheme | how do good men become part of the regime| they don’t believe in resistance

The new Crossfire Family Worship Center has opened its doors at 4060 W. Amazon Parkway in a building most recently used by Calvary Fellowship, a church headed by former University of Oregon Duck quarterback Danny O’Neil. The size of O’Neil’s congregation slid, though, from a peak of about 800 members to something fewer than 200, Taylor said, and the building was headed for foreclosure last year. (Read more)

Do not fear, there is always wine
If you are thirsty for love.
Do not fear, there is always water
If your lips are parched.
Do not fear your ruin, inside you
There is a treasure.
Open your eyes, for this world
Is only a dream.
